Isaiah 5 20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
And clever in their own sight!

In the book of Judges, it also speaks of people doing what was right in their own eyes. Interesting how the fallen human nature is evident in every generation, yet we who belong to Him are transformed by the renewing of our minds, and He keeps us in perfect peace, who’s minds are focused on Him. May His peace that passes all understanding, guard your minds and hearts in these days ahead…
