Daniel David…

  •    I was born in October of 1953 in Dayton Ohio and raised on a farm in western Ohio, graduating from High School in Lewisburg Ohio. Enlisted in the USAF in 1972 and first assignment was at Hahn Air base in Germany, where some people shared the true Gospel on the street…and was Born again in the spring of 1973. The people at the Commune, the intense Bible studies, prayer, and discipleship, helped me grow tremendously in my Faith walk. There were about 20 people, led by 2 Elders. The Commune was formed in 1970 after 4 brothers of the Faith prayed for a place to minister from. Some of the earlier members were musically talented and left for England, forming another commune and also forming a band called; the Sheep/Servant, and later toured the U.S. with Petra as backup band. We also had an outreach ministry/coffee house, and were generously supported by the Billy Graham ministry, who sent us Gospel tracts.
  •       After returning and finishing my enlistment at Scott AFB in Illinois, I inquired at McKendree College, in pursuit of a degree in Biblical studies, but after the initial interview, realized that they did not consider the Scriptures entirely true. I was raised Methodist as a child. So after my attempts to find a good Bible college, I felt inspired to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me, as I had already been discipled for 2 yrs. I believe in the 5 fold ministry, however there comes a time when we do mature in our Faith and as John shares in his Epistle, ‘we have an unction from the Holy One and have no need man teach us’.
  •      1977 –  I began college at Southern Illinois University and got a bachelor degree in Education. I took an interest in Hebrew and took some courses and also learned by Strong’s exhaustive concordance, the Greek language as well. My passion is teaching the Scriptures, rightly dividing them to help others in their faith journey and desire for His Word, for truly our relationship with the Father and His Son, who abide in us, who are saved by grace, thru faith, not of ourselves.

Since coming back from Germany, over the years. I was involved in founding some home fellowship groups over the years, in Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, and Missouri, still in contact with many of those brothers and sisters in the faith.

  •      2006 – We also were foster parents at KLEOS, near Klamath Falls Oregon for a year, as I taught the boys regular education classes and my wife, Sharyl worked in the community kitchen. I also was on the worship team, playing guitar with John, who was the worship leader. We only had girls in our residence at the Kleos community.
  •       2016, we were in Florida for a couple years and had a ministry to the homeless in Milton Florida where we fed the homeless, shared Scriptures and prayer with many and also plate guitar, sharing the Word in song. Also volunteered at a shelter there as well as a soup kitchen in Franklin Ohio..

A few years ago, the verses in Revelation spoke to me about returning to that first love (in Germany) and doing those first works – Evangelism, sharing the Gospel and rightly dividing the Word to those I meet, as well as prayer.

  •      Currently attending EV Free church in Owensville Mo, as the fellowship is sweet and Pastor Mike has a passion for the Scriptures and is also a good teacher of the Word,
